Good to know
The policy below separates cookies needed for the shop from optional analytics. Read it alongside the privacy policy for information about how personal data is handled.

The short version
This shop sets the cookies it needs in order to work. Only if you agree to statistics does it also use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, to see how the shop is used. There is no advertising pixel and no social media tracker, and nothing from Google or any other third party is loaded before you have said yes.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser so that it can recognise your browser on the next page you open. Without them a shop cannot remember what is in your basket from one click to the next.
The cookies this shop sets
- A session cookie, which keeps you logged in and keeps your checkout together. It expires when you close your browser.
- XSRF-TOKEN, a security cookie that prevents another website from submitting forms on your behalf.
- cart and cart_notes, which hold the contents of your basket and any note you attach to it.
- mm_bike, which remembers the motorcycle you selected so the shop can show you what fits it.
- parts_view, which remembers whether you last viewed a parts listing as a table or as cards.
- cookieAccept, which records your answer to the cookie banner so we do not ask again for a year.
- langChoice, which records the language you chose so the shop does not suggest switching again for a year.
Every one of these is either strictly necessary to provide the shop, or stores a preference you asked for yourself. Under article 22.2 of Spanish law 34/2002 that kind of cookie does not require your prior consent. We show the banner anyway, so that you know what is stored rather than having to take our word for it.
Statistics
The banner offers a "statistics" choice. Only if you tick it, or accept all, does the shop load Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited. Google Analytics then sets two cookies: _ga, which tells visits from the same browser apart, and _ga_ followed by an identifier, which keeps the state of your current visit. Both last up to two years. They tell us which pages are visited, from which country and on which kind of device, and how visitors find the shop. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.
Microsoft Clarity, a service of Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, is loaded under the same consent. It records how pages are used, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, which we can play back to find where the shop is confusing or broken. It sets the cookies _clck, which recognises your browser for up to a year, and _clsk, which ties the pages of one visit together for a day. Microsoft may also set MUID, for up to a year. Payment details are never recorded: you pay on Mollie's own pages.
If you do not agree, neither Google Analytics nor Clarity is loaded and none of these cookies is set. Your answer is remembered for a year and will be honoured.
Changing your mind
You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, and you can block them entirely — though blocking the necessary ones will stop the basket and checkout from working. Deleting cookieAccept makes the banner appear again.
